Makes me grateful for GW balance everytime I read things like these.

Yeah it's quite true. You can get pvp instances where the level 60's take out whole towns of poor unsuspecting lvl 4's at any given time, it happened to me once. Yes I play WoW. Bite me

Yes. Yes you can, you can also kill the npc's but they usually wind up kicking your ass in some manner, i'm not high enough a level to invade enemy towns yet, but i have seen a bat handler NPC killing 2 level 60's before. Was funny. A bat handler, killing 2 valiant heroes on the spot.

Well, in WoW, there are not only Professions, but Races too. And Blood Elves are a race. Each race gets some sort of bonus to something, and apparently Blood Elves get an enchanting bonus. And if my limited WoW knowledge is correct, Enchanting is the big money-maker in WoW.

I only played wow for a few months last year, but I'd have to say out of EQ2, WoW and GW, that GW seems the most balanced.
Yippee! I love this game.

From what I understand the Blood Elf is part of the Burning Crusade expansion pack, which definitely does not come before Guild Wars. Mesmer isn't exactly a unique profession though (see: Everquest's Enchanter, for example).

Opposing faction players can't attack you unless you are in contested/hostile area or you attack first. At least level 20 can be reached without any risk of being killed by opposing faction. The PvP flag will last 5 minutes after last PvP action you made. Some new players just think they can something against these attackers and get themself flagged by attacking and then get repeatly killed. WoW has ridiculous bonuses for good equipments and level differences will raise them even further so low level players can't do anything to them.

The grind level in WoW is a lot higher than in GW also... and it's more of a PvE game than GW...
